“Why Not Home?” is an excellent documentary that features hospital medical providers (OBs, Labor & Delivery Nurses, General Practitioners) who chose to give birth at home. My intention in sharing this is to further validate people who want to give birth at home, AND to help people, who are more comfortable birthing in the hospital, have more information about what’s entailed when you have a hospital birth, and how to navigate that experience so it’s more satisfying.
